The Walderalm, idyllically situated at an altitude of 1,511 meters in the Tyrolean Karwendel mountains, is a real insider tip for nature lovers and pleasure hikers. It takes around 1.5 hours to reach the alp from Gnadenwald via a leisurely forest path - ideal for families, e-bikers or anyone who wants to get away from it all.
Once you reach the top, you are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view of the Inntal valley and the Karwendel massif. Especially in spring and summer, the alpine pasture is a sea of color made up of alpine flowers, framed by lush meadows and imposing rock faces. The serviced hut offers hearty Tyrolean delicacies - a cool drink and a snack tastes twice as good here.
In short: the Walderalm is the perfect place for a relaxing break in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains. Authentic, quiet and beautiful - a real place of power.
